naugurated in 1971, the Grand Théâtre offers two concert halls : Louis-Fréchette and Octave-Crémazie. Dancing, theatre, music, operas and variety shows are featured yearly. The main entrance is graced with an impressive mural by artist Jordi Bonet. Guided tours for groups every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., upon reservation. Fee charged for group visits. Hall rentals: Louis-Fréchette, 1,873 seats, Octave-Crémazie: 506 seats.

As the sun sets over the horizon, in his "royaume de tôle" (tin kingdom), the Emperor beckons all to take part in an out-of-the-ordinary urban cabaret presented outdoors under the Dufferin highway overpass in Quebec City’s lower town district. Le Royaume de tôle—the third chapter created by Cirque — it is a striking mélange of acrobatics, street dance, music and multimedia bearing the distinct signature of Cirque du Soleil.
